Area Sales Manager – Access Products

Role

This position is working for a market leading manufacturer of Access Products and Work Platforms. This role will have the successful applicant selling solely through Builders Merchants, Stockists and Distributors including Travis Perkins, Jewson/Stark, Fortis Buying Group, NMBS and many more. You will be expected to manage relationships at a regional level delivering national strategies as well as product/staff training, managing promotions and ensuring all sales opportunities are being utilised. Covering the South West from Cornwall to Hampshire, this is a very strong region for my client.

I am seeking a proven sales professional who has experience and knowledge of selling to Builders Merchants and Stockists/Distributors across the Construction sector. My client will consider an applicant from any product background as full training will be provided but you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing existing Merchant accounts as well as generating new business. Please also apply if you are currently working in an external sales role for a Builders Merchant.
