    Area Sales Manager – Adhesives / Sealants

    Role

    My client is a leading manufacturer offering an extensive selection of products including sealants, adhesives, wood care, expanding foams, tapes, coatings and more.  They also sell a new range of GRP Roofing products which is launching into the market. All these products will be sold through a large network of Independent Builders Merchants and Buying Group Members (Fortis, NBG, H&B and more).  Covering a compact but hugely key area of Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk only . The area has a really healthy level of existing business and is one of the key areas for the company  and will need a sales individual who has the ability to maintain long term relationships as well as drive the business forward. As well as the account management aspect you will also get involved in price negotiations particularly in the smaller merchants.

    My client is looking for a sales person who possesses confidence, hunger, drive and energy. It is crucial you can demonstrate experience selling through Builders Merchants, ideally this will be experience with Independent Merchants and Buying Groups.  My client is open on the product background of the right individual (knowledge of a related product is advantageous) but you need to have experience building relationships and be an outgoing, high calibre, personable individual who wants to work for a market leader. You also need to have a structured approach to account management. This is a great area and an excellent opportunity to work for a market leader.
