This is selling the range of commercial wall hung and floor standing boilers. The breakdown of customers is dependent on the candidates experience and can be tailored accordingly, but the majority of your time will be spent with M&E Contractors, M&E Consultants and then finally with Distribution (Partners such as Smith Brothers & BSS) The region is all of the south from the south coast upto the midlands, but please note my client takes a view that you will work smartly in the key area’s of the region, mainly in and around where your existing relations are.
Although this division is low in turnover within the UK, my client belongs to a worldwide group who has a presence around the globe.
You will need to have a commercial plumbing or commercial heating background and have current relationships with M&E Contractors / Consultants. Due to the region being relatively untapped, there is lots and lots of potential for growth. You will need to be hungry and able to work smartly, but more importantly someone who has a mindset of “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and be patient in your approach. My client especially likes people who can get the “small wins” and “chip away” at the bigger manufacturers.
