You will sell the range of Electric Heating Products, Space Heating, Electric Cylinders and Panel Radiators. You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with Electrical Wholesalers. There are approx 140 branches you will manage & look after on a regular basis but around 400 branches in total. The biggest spending Accounts are CEF, Edmundsons, LEW Electrical (multiple branches) BEW Electrical (2 branches Leicester & Peterborough), LED Electrical in Blackburn, Smith Brothers in Doncaster, Oldfield Electrical (5 branches around Yorkshire) Park Electrical (11 branches in the North East).
You will be tasked with quotations, following up leads and closing the loop on opportunities / product demonstrations / trade days and merchandising. Typically visiting customers on a 6-8 week call cycle. Region sales is around £750k p/a.
The region is managing the Borders down to Birmingham including the PE postal code, occasional overnight stays may be required due to the size of the area.
The business are part of a larger group with strong expertise, back-up & support. They are growing and gaining share of the market year – on – year.
You will have an electrical sales background but this can be internally working for a wholesaler. Obviously if you have on the road experience this will be advantageous. You will be willing to learn, energetic and coachable. Someone who is comfortable with working as part of a team, has genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic, results orientated, personable and enthusiastic.
