Area Technical Sales Manager (Concrete)
Role
Location: Field-based role; the ideal candidate will reside within the Midlands Region.
Salary and Benefits: Basic salary of up to £56,000 + OTE up to £68,000 + Benefits + Company car (Hybrid Audi Q3).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Technical Sales Manager to join a leading supplier of concrete admixtures. This role is critical in driving sales, developing client relationships, and providing expert technical advice in the concrete sector.
This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with previous experience in concrete manufacturing or a related industry. The role involves travel across the Midlands region, with occasional overnight stays.
Main Duties
- Develop and manage the client base within the territory, achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Represent the company professionally as a premier supplier to the precast and ready-mix concrete industries.
- Provide technical advice on concrete mix designs, enhancing product value for clients.
- Promote a wide range of solutions, including admixtures, fibers, and other concrete-enhancing products.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience within the concrete manufacturing or related industry.
- Technical understanding of concrete products, including mix designs and solutions.
- Strong customer relationship management and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the Midlands
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in a similar technical sales role within the construction or concrete industry.
- Background working with major clients such as Hanson, Cemex, AI or Breedon.
- Reside within the territory region.
