    Business Development Manager – Building Consumables


    This role is back filling yet another internal promotion for this market leading manufacturer. Selling their strong and respected range of Building Materials.  You will be selling into Independent Merchants & smaller buying Groups & their members.  Selling at a regional and branch level, predominantly nurturing, and developing existing business relationships, a lot of Account Management.  A crucial part of the role involves adding new stock ranges within branches, setting up Point of Sale, Communicating marketing/promotions, attending trade events and ensuring all members are working in line with the agreed national terms. This is all about protecting market share. The area is Lancashire, West Yorkshire & South Yorkshire incorporating the following post codes – BB, BL, OL, HX, HD, WF, S. If you live one post code off patch then you will be considered.

    My client is looking for a sharp, enthusiastic individual who has strong experience selling into merchants. Naturally any experience with buying groups is hugely advantageous but not essential. The client also believes product knowledge is less important as full and thorough training is provided.
