The role will be selling the full range of Highway & Road installation products which include Access Chambers, Retention Sockets, Bollards, Manhole covers & frames. There are a lot of extensive products within the range. They are used within Traffic Control, Street Lighting, Highways repair & even Electric vehicles charging installation projects. They tend to sell on quality, features and benefits as well as service & stock level. This is a specification role selling to Local Authorities (city & council authorities ) , Highway Contractors and Design consultants. The products are generally sold direct but occasionally through Civil Merchants. The area is the whole of Scotland but also Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham & Cumbria, ideally you will be living in Scotland.

They are very well established and have all the Government standard approvals, lots of Unique Selling Points. They operate from a state of the art UK premises. They offer a very healthy working environment & culture by supporting staff through extensive training and support.
The most important thing for my client is a candidate’s attitude. You need to full of hunger, drive, tenacity, enthusiasm, engagement, energy & organisation. You need to be down to earth & very much a team player. You also need to be a chameleon, able to build rapport with a consulting engineer one minute & a contactor the next. They are very open on construction product experience although a heavy side or Civils experience could be beneficial. My client is also keen on candidates who may have had on-site experience with a practical approach.
