    Business Development Manager – Safety & Access Products

    Role

    This role will be selling the company’s range of Site Access/Site Safety products made from Glass Reinforced plastics. The extensive range of products include Gratings, Guardrails/Handrails, Safety Ladders/Cage Systems, Stairs, Platforms etc. This role will be selling predominantly into Tier 1 + Tier 2 Main Contractors.  There will also be heavy involvement with the end users across a range of sectors – from Food & Beverage through to Rail, Data Centres, Power & Pharmaceutical.  You will be heavily project focused , selling across these sectors, providing a tailored solution, a consultative approach and offering technical expertise, dealing with key stakeholders throughout the project cycle at regional office level as well as on-site. This role will involve a lot of value engineering selling , for example switching from Steel products to the GRP alternatives. You will inherit a strong area with a healthy turnover. Working in a UK team of 4 you will be responsible for East & West Midlands as well as Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Gloucestershire & Bristol.

    As a salesperson my client is looking for a proactive and driven individual who has the inner motivation and desire to aim for the high OTE.  In terms of experience you need to be able to demonstrate success in project selling as well as strong exposure to the T1/T2 Main Contractors & End Users. Obviously Construction sales experience is preferred however if you have sold through End Users in sectors such as Food & Beverage, Rail/Light Rail, Data Centres, Power , oil rigs, nuclear power plants, pharmaceutical etc that will also be of interest to my client.
