This is an exciting but commercially challenging role for a manufacturer of Plasterboard and associated products. You will be responsible for selling the company’s full range of Plasterboard, Fire Protection boards & associated accessories to mainly large Dry Lining Contractors & Main Contractors. An extremely fast paced role commercially where you will be adapting to trends and changes within the customers project base. A lot of onsite negotiations and involvement with senior buyers. Once the order is won you will need to liaise with key Distributors both National & Independents. A lot of the role will be about breaking specifications away from competitors. Full support is given by an able and fast reacting internal support team. The region you will have responsibility for is North London, Northern Home Counties & East Anglia. Very established area with great potential to grow even further.

My client is looking for a sharp, bright, tenacious, commercially astute sales person from within the Construction sector. Preferably related or a Heavy Side product background . You need to be prepared to adjust to a fast paced environment and be able to demonstrate success in selling & negotiating with Contractors. A high degree of intellect , together with an adaptable, lively sales manner. You also need to be ambitious.
