Excellent opportunity for someone with management experience to overview see a team selling a full range of specialist tools, PPE & accessories. You will be tasked with managing a team of Area Sales Managers who look after merchants and stockists nationally. The role will be very hands on as you will be expected to lead from the front selling and generating new business by working with the Area Sales Managers. Your time will be split evenly managing the North & the South of the country with at least one day in head office – ideally you will reside in Central England. You will be tasked with setting KPI’s and targets, identifying sales opportunities with the aim to secure new business, you will also have a hand in future recruitment.
My client are a leading manufacturer of specialist tools, PPE & accessories which a strong diverse customer based both nationally & globally.
Proven management experience of a field sales team is a must. Product relevance is preferred but my client would be open to any background selling construction related products into merchants, buying groups & stockists. The ideal individual needs to be a natural born leader who isn’t afraid to lead by example. You will need to be able to motive, support & encourage your team to ensure results are achieved.
