This is a senior leadership position looking after the complete sales operation for this market leading supplier of Building Consumable products. You will have responsibility for a National Sales Manager, 12 external sales professionals and a good number of internal sales people. As Head of Sales you will be responsible for setting targets, strategy, incentives and ensuring both the External & Internal sales team achieve the companies sales objectives in conjunction with your Sales Manager. The route to market is heavily loaded in selling to Facility Management companies, however the sales team also deal with Distributors as well as through Hospitality via large Hotel chains and customers such as Center Parcs. There is a big involvement in handling large projects that incorporate managing tenders, supply chain agreements as well as a long sales cycle via senior procurement managers. This is key senior manager role for a market leading business.

My client is looking for a strategic, polished senior sales leader that can lead by example and operate at high levels within large Facility Management companies and Corporate End Users. It would be a huge plus if you are able to demonstrate a successful track record in working with FM Companies. Product wise my client is completely open on what you may have sold before in any sector away from Construction including hospitality, food and even beverage. You need to be able to show success in managing a sales team, growing a sales team and operating at a senior sales management level. Although this is a National role you can NOT live in the extremes of the UK .
