This is leading and managing a sales team across the UK plus a team of internal sales people. You will be tasked with selling specialist groundwork & structural support systems into Sub Contractors, Groundworkers, Structural Engineers and other forms of Specification. You will be responsible for breaking & protecting specifications on mainly high rise / commercial / residential projects, along with multi-story carparks, bridges and tunnels. The products are made to order and supplied direct to site. Key responsibilities that you will oversee will include the sales turnover, margin, market share, coaching & developing the sales force and ensuring they are motivated and working towards objectives and strategies set by the company. As National Sales Manager you will also lead and collaborate on high level negotiations with key clients, managing key projects together with setting up national rebate and supply chain agreements, collaborating with the technical and transport departments within the business.

You will have strong leadership skills and excellent people management experience. You will have a proven track record working successfully in the construction industry selling into structural engineers / civil engineers / groundworkers. This is a UK position and my client is flexible on where you reside, they do request that you travel to the headquarters on a monthly basis. (based in the Midlands)
