This position is selling into OEM customers. The OEM customers (Original Equipment Manufacturers) would use my clients’ products inside their own / in conjunction with their own products.
They sell across different sectors and have a dedicated Sales Manager for each. This would include Automotive, Marine & Leisure, Unvented Cylinders, Under Floor Heating, Compressed Air, Drinks & Beverages, Engineering & Leisure. This position is focused on new prospects and new openings across all sectors. You will target emerging sectors / untapped industries / new prospect companies such as the Agriculture sector, Battery Cooling, HVAC, Rail, Bathroom Pod Manufacturers, Boat Building Manufacturers etc. You will identify key players, fact find who the major manufacturers are, research them and target them. They have the data / Salesforce info, lapsed account details that you will work from, so you will use this as a starting point to plan your approach. You will hunt down new opportunities and engage. There will be overnight stays dependent on where you live, approx. 4 nights per month. You will talk about the technical aspects and build relationships.

You will have a sales focused background but my client is extremely open minded on what product sector you come from. An OEM link of some form would be helpful & advantageous as in all likelihood you will have potential customers you can bring across right away.
