I have a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leader of Drainage products. You will be selling the company’s extensive range of water Management products that includes SuDs, surface drainage systems, attenuation, infiltration solutions, hydrocarbon separators & vortex flow control systems. There is an element of technical bias selling into Main Contractors, specialist sub Contractors and Highway Contractors. Part of your duties include the need to read technical drawings so an understanding of this is preferred but not essential as training is provided. There is a real emphasis on Highways sector projects, following up leads and creating demand. Once projects / orders are won they are then back sold through Civil merchants but this will involve you liaising with colleagues from the Merchant team in most cases. You will be responsible for North Wales, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester & Cumbria and the North West is a very busy area with lots of established projects already in place.

My client is looking for a strong sales person who not only has a technical bias but is also strong commercially. You must have experience from within the Drainage / Highways sector and show success in selling through the Civil Contractor network. If you possess a technical civils qualification as well as the ability to read drawings then that is also very advantageous. As a sales person you need to be a team player , tenacious in your approach to sourcing and holding on to projects. Great opportunity to work for a market leading business.
