You will be tasked with selling the range of Plumbing products. This position is managing a very strong existing sales ledger which consists of merchants mainly. Current examples of merchant partners include Wolseley, City Plumbing, UK Plumbing Supplies, F&P, IPG and Fortis members. Approx 400 branches that stock the products on this patch. Due to the terms and agreements being agreed / set at head office level, the majority of this position is managing the relationships at branch level to ensure things run smoothly. There will be some OEM involvement too. i.e Boiler Manufacturers, Heat Pump Manufacturers and Heat Exchange Manufacturers who all use my clients product which is built into theirs. The area is vast so time management / planning / journey planning is key. The area is all of the South East upto Coventry and including East Anglia. You will manage multi millions of turnover, this is a real account management position.
My client is a UK manufacturer with a significant market share.
You will have experience selling into merchants across the South East. You will have excellent account management skills and be comfortable speaking at different levels. Any form of OEM experience will elevate your application.
