Area Sales Manager – Tools

Role

This position will be selling my clients full range of Tools and Abrasives as well as their related Accessories/Consumables used within the Construction and Decorating sector. This role will have the successful applicant targeting National Decorating Centres including Dulux Decorating Centres, Brewers, Johnston & Leyland and Crown Decorating Centre. Selling at a regional level, providing training & demonstrations in store, including hosting trade days in branches.  You will also be expected to work alongside National/Regional Contractors providing training/demonstrations on-site. Covering the North East and East Midlands this region is very strong for my client.

Person

I am seeking a sharp and switched on sales person who is currently looking to take their first step in to a filed sales position. My client would love an applicant that is currently working within a Decorating Centre, Merchant or Stockist. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage existing spending accounts and build lasting relationships. My client may consider an applicant who is currently working within an Area Sales Manager role and has experience of selling to Decorating Centres or Builders Merchants.
