    Technical Sales Manager – Window / Door Hardware

    Role

    This role will be selling the company’s full range of window/door hardware products including hinges, locks, cylinders, handles, restrictors & trickle vents. This role will be selling into predominantly window/door fabricators and a very small amount of independent hardware distributors. You will be dealing with a variety of stakeholders -from 1 man band owners right up to Technical Managers/Purchasing Managers for national fabricators/installers. Together with prospecting new accounts, this individual will be utilizing leads passed internally and networking to generate sales and specification opportunities. This role will involve presenting – including CPD’s and product demonstrations. This role has become available in part to growth – working in a team of 4 Technical Sales Managers who all work closely together.  This team is expected to grow throughout next year – and this area is expected to reduce in size accordingly.

    My client is ideally looking for someone who has product experience – either within the window/door hardware sector or has sold windows and doors into the trade such as merchants, installers, fabricators & architectural ironmongers. You need to be able to manage the territory and demonstrate the ability to organise your diary. Strong relationship building skills combined with the ability to seek new business is crucial.
