This senior management role will be directly responsible for the UK Sales operation for this Global business. The products your sales team will be selling include Site Access/Site Safety products and a range of Structural Protection – which includes Structural/Liquid Waterproofing, Expansion Joints etc. As the Sales Manager you will lead and inspire the 5 UK Territory Sales Managers as well as having sole responsibility for growing this team. You will be supporting development and performance, shaping the sales strategy, driving growth and setting individual and team objectives as well as ensuring your team have the very best technical guidance. Alongside managing the team, the Sales Manager will have direct responsibility for Key Accounts of end users who include Engineers, Tier 1 & Tier 2 Contractors and specialist Distributors , this means that the role is very customer facing. The experience level of the sales teams varies so you need to get the balance right with the level of man management each TSM requires. This role will involve extensive travel both nationally and on occasion internationally. The UK sale steam is achieving substantial and healthy level of turnover. Reporting directly to the UK General Manager you will be required to provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts. This role offers lots of personal potential for career development. It is a national role so ideally you will be based as centrally as possible.

They are NOT interested in a micromanager but someone who can coach, mentor and motivate the sales team and who has the intellect and skill to empower the sales force to deliver results without a huge amount of interference. You need to be a peoples person with a Degree, someone who is used to selling a solution, a person with strong entrepreneurial skills. Other personal attributes include being results driven, a hunter mentality, possessing lots of presence, & energy and also be a good presenter.
