We are recruiting on behalf of a leading independent plumbers merchant with a strong presence across the South of England. Due to a recent departure, there is now an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially-minded Business Development Manager to join their growing team in the Kent Region.
About the Role:
This is a field-based role covering a well-established territory. You’ll be selling a comprehensive portfolio of plumbing, heating, renewables, and a premium bathroom range including sanitaryware, fitted furniture, flooring, wall panels, towel rails, lighting, and more.
Target clients include M&E contractors and one-off installers.
You’ll be expected to develop strong commercial relationships and grow profitable business.
The position offers autonomy and significant potential for earnings through a profit share scheme.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Industry experience is essential—ideally within a merchant or trade environment.
Could suit a current Branch Manager looking for their first field sales role.
Driven, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with a hunger for success.
Strong commercial understanding and customer-focused approach.
