    Internal Specification Coordinator – Interiors Manufacturer

    Location: Based from Shildon Office, County Durham (Hybrid Working – 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH)


    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturer of innovative interior products. As Specification Sales Co-ordinator, you will work closely with the external sales team to develop and convert a strong pipeline of specification opportunities across the architectural and design community, end users, and main contractors.
    You’ll prospect new projects using tools like Glenigan, LinkedIn, and Google, deliver professional virtual presentations, and support the external sales team through to project completion.

    This role has been created due to business growth and offers flexible, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Prospecting and converting new business opportunities
    • Building strong, lasting relationships across the design and construction community
    • Managing a sales pipeline and tracking projects from specification to completion
    • Presenting interior surface solutions virtually using Teams and supplying samples and marketing materials
    • Collaborating closely with the external specification sales team

    We are looking for a vibrant, driven individual who thrives on building relationships and creating opportunities.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • 1–3 years of sales experience (telesales or client-facing)
    • Experience in the construction, interiors, or design sector
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Good organisational skills and self-motivation
    • Ability to conduct professional product presentations via Teams
    • CRM experience (ideally Salesforce)
    • Technical sales or product knowledge (advantageous)
