**An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. Covering the Southern Home Counties and South London, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the civils, commercial, infrastructure, industrial, and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute an area sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Deliver market growth by building relationships with contractors, groundworkers, civil engineers and merchants.
• Identify and target new business opportunities for project and stock sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Attend trade shows and industry events.
Skills and Experience:
• Proven track record in proactive, “hunter-style” sales.
• 5+ years’ experience in technical field sales (civils, drainage, or similar).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team player.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with CRM systems (desirable)
• Based within the territory or commutable distance.
