You will be tasked with selling the full range of surface drainage, channel drainage and slot channel drainage. You will be focused on building relationships with civil merchants and builders merchants across the region, examples of customers currently include Civils & Lintels, Burdens, Keyline, John Davidson Pipes, NBG, H&B. You will also be expected to build up the end user relationships with Contractors and Civil Construction companies. The area is Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Avon, Gloucestershire, South Wales and Wiltshire.
My client is gradually building up the external sales team and growing year on year. They are now in a position where they are seeking someone to manage the South West to add sales in this region.
Naturally someone with a drainage background will jump the queue in terms of relevance and priority, they would love someone from this product field as it will save time learning about the products and technical aspects of the position. However my client would also be interested in candidates that have sold other products such as landscaping. The important aspect is someone who understands both merchants / stockists and contractors.
