Area Sales Manager – Heavyside Merchant

Role

This is a a rare and exciting opportunity to join a well established Independent Heavyside Merchant. The successful candidate will be selling my clients full range of Heavyside products including Drainage, Roofing, Guttering, Landscaping etc. You will be targeting 100% Contractors/Developers and will involve lots of on-site selling and cold calling. This will be heavily new business led role. You will spend a minimum of 4 days on the road proactively targeting business in and around Peterborough. You will be also be expected to be in the branch most days as you will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure every sales opportunity is capitalised.

Person

I am seeking a tenacious and driven sales professional who has the ability to sell at site level and proactively generate new business. You must have a traditional heavyside background to be considered for this position and ideally any links to Civils/Drainage products is a hugely advantageous. My client may also consider an applicant who is currently working as a Branch Manager and is looking to take the next step in their career as an external sales professional.
