Area Sales Manager – Interior building products

Role

My client is looking for an individual to sell companies range of Interior building products. You will be breaking specifications with Main & Sub Contractors along with managing projects with End users ie Health Care, NHS, Care Homes, Schools and Leisure Centers.  Covering Midlands down to the South West region, you will inherit an established region but has been underperforming and has lots of potential for growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop both the customer and product mix across the region in line with the business plan.
• Manage the territory area, business mix, and diary; arrange own visits.
• Develop sales and maintain a pipeline of projects in the territory.
• Visit existing accounts and key customers to increase sales.
• Build relationships in the area by visiting new and potential customers to increase sales across the full product range.
• Conduct and attend site surveys and measure-up visits to secure any further planned works.
• Maintain the sales margin at the required levels.
• Manage customer concerns and resolve issues effectively, mitigating any customer dissatisfaction.
