Area Sales Manager – Plumbing Distributor

Role

You will be tasked with selling the wide range of Plumbing products. They are a leading distributor of Brass/Copper Fittings and Valves, Plastic Pipes and Under Floor Heating, Taps, Brassware, Plumbing Tools and Consumables. This position is selling to Buying Group Members & Independent Plumbers Merchants. Examples will include UKPS, MKM, PHG Members. They have approx. 150 accounts on the region which generates £1.5m of sales revenue. The area is managing Kent, E&W Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire South London.

Person

My client is seeking someone with a good understand / strong knowledge of Plumbing & Heating products. You could already be out on the road in an external position, or you could be branch based for a merchant and looking to move into an external position. The crucial aspect here is someone who can “trade” and someone who can build relationships and ask for the order. They want somebody who can “sell” and “not represent.”
