    Area Sales Manager – Screed

    Role

    A leading manufacturer in the construction materials industry is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of its innovative flooring screeds. This role involves working closely with contractors, screeders, and Readymix/Concrete suppliers to develop business opportunities and expand market share. The territory is flexible and will be shaped around the right candidate, covering key regions across the Midlands and surrounding areas.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Managing and growing relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Developing new business opportunities within the construction sector.
    • Providing technical sales support and product knowledge to customers.
    • Working towards agreed sales targets and performance goals.

    Package:

    • Competitive basic salary, plus OTE of circa £60,000.
    • Company car (Hybrid options) or car allowance.
    • Additional benefits including pension, phone, laptop, and 25 days holiday.

    Person

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience in heavyside building materials (e.g., Readymix, Aggregates, Screed, Concrete).
    • A technical sales background with the ability to engage with contractors and site-based customers.
    • A confident and driven approach, able to build relationships and close sales.
    • A practical mindset, comfortable working with a hands-on customer base.
    • A manufacturing background is preferred, but relevant experience in drainage, insulation, or similar technical sales will be considered.
