Business Development Manager – Adhesives / Sealants

Role

This exciting position is working for a true industry leader who manufacturers a range of adhesives and sealants. You will be managing my clients range through all National Merchants and DIY accounts. Due to the diverse application of products you will be selling into a wide range of construction merchants. This role is focused more on account management, supporting businesses regionally under the National Key Account Manager who sets up the national deals. It is important you protect market share whilst actively growing product lines within existing accounts by upselling, cross selling and training Merchant staff. Covering West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Durham this region is very successful for my client.

My client is looking for an individual who is highly experienced in selling through merchants.  They are open minded on product background and this individual could come from plumbing, building products, bathrooms or any other construction material as long as you have the knowledge of selling to the merchant sector. They will also consider a talented Merchant sales person wanting to move into manufacturing. They do not want a box shifter, they are looking for someone who is able to grow the product portfolio within existing accounts. Someone with energy and drive.
