This Business Development role gives you responsibility for selling the companies range of Cladding / Facade Cavity Fire Barriers, Fire stop blocks, Raised Access floor barriers & Acoustic/Thermal Solutions. This position is heavily contractor / distribution focused, working closely with the Specification Manager picking up specs as they hit the Contractor stage, everyone from Facade & Cladding Contractors, Tier 1 Contractors & Sub Contractors. The products are stocked through prominent distributors such as CCF, SIG, Encon, Galaxy & Belgrade. There is a very small amount of selling into OEMS – Insulation Manufacturers who will use your products within their systems / projects. This is a new role available due to growth. Covering the whole of the South but with particular focus on London & the South East.
The company are a very well established Manufacturer who are part of a large international group. They have long been associated with products that consistently provide solutions to the construction sector as well as adhering to all building & fire regulations.
My client is looking for a high calibre sales individual from an RCI/Ceilings/Plasterboard/Fire Protection background. The products are quite technical so you need to be able to absorb technical information. You need to be able to demonstrate success in selling to Contractors & Distributors within this sector. My client is prepared to look at a high calibre Distribution sales person wanting to step into Manufacturing. Ideally you will need to be as accessible to London as possible.
