A leading merchant operating nationally within the HVAC and commercial plumbing & heating sector is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager. With a strong heritage and reputation for outstanding service, the company is one of the UK’s largest merchants/distributors in its field.
Location: East London, North London and Essex
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing and developing a defined region (East London, Essex, parts of North London), selling a full range of commercial P&H and ventilation products working with key suppliers providing:
Metal & plastic pipes
Valves, drainage systems
Commercial boilers, boosters, radiators
Air conditioning, renewables
Ancillaries & consumables
The role will involve selling into both large M&E contractors and smaller businesses or one-man bands. You’ll inherit an existing ledger of smaller accounts and be expected to win new business. You will have the benefit of a strong branch on area and be supported by internal team. Reporting to senior regional leadership.
The Person:
We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of the HVAC or commercial P&H industry. You may be working for a rival distributor or a manufacturer selling into contractors. Experience in domestic P&H will also be considered. This is a great opportunity for someone with a ready-made client base or deep understanding of the contractor market.
