Due to continued growth this is an excellent opportunity for a market leading manufacturer of External Render products within the companies “Building Finishing” division. This division sells high-performance renders and coatings that work in conjunction with insulation products to create attractive, energy-saving facades. This role will be dealing predominantly with Sub-Contractors and Applicators, purely protecting and breaking specifications. There is also a small amount of involvement with specifiers such as Housebuilders and Local Authorities. There is also a dedicated specification manager who works within the team dealing more with architects – that you as the BDM will collaborate with. Towards the end of the project the order is passed onto your colleague in the Distribution team , as products are sold through the network of distributors. The area you will have responsibility for is Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire, Staffordshire + Derbyshire.
The company are a global construction products supplier who have many different divisions and pride themselves on being involved in many projects within the UK building industry infrastructure.
My client is ideally looking for a sales professional from within the EWI sector, however they will also consider a quality sales professional who has sold insulation, flat/pitched roofing, facades, cladding – anything RCI related. You need to be able to demonstrate success selling a system. Strong experience selling through Contractors is advantageous, as is a tenacious, driven manner. You could be currently selling for either a Manufacturer or Distributor.
