    Business Development Manager – Specialist Building Products

    Role

    Location: Covering Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire & West Surrey
    Package: £45,000 – £55,000 basic (flexible depending on experience)
    Bonus: Up to 25% of base salary
    Car: Company car (extensive choice including hybrids & electric) or car allowance

    The Company

    A well-established distributor of specialist building products supplying a wide range of products including:

    • Brickwork ancillaries (e.g., cavity trays, brick reinforcement, brick slips)

    • Structural waterproofing systems

    • Formwork and concrete accessories

    • Fixings and construction chemicals

    Well-known supplier partnerships include leading brands such as Fosroc, Visqueen, Sika, Celotex, Ancon, and more. The business is in a strong growth phase with plans to expand further across the South of England.


    The Role

    You will be responsible for developing new and existing business with contractors across the South Central region, including Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, and West Surrey. Your focus will be on groundworkers, brickwork and waterproofing contractors, primarily through site visits.

    This is a growth role due to ongoing success and expansion, the opportunity is highly sales-focused, targeting new business wins and building long-term relationships within the contracting market.


    The Person

    We’re seeking a proactive and driven individual with experience selling into contractors. The ideal candidate will come from a competitor in a similar product space – such as construction accessories, insulation, bricks, or lintels – and have an established network of brickwork or groundwork contractors.

    You must be contractor-facing and confident operating in a site-based, solution-selling environment.
