Commercial Director

Location: North West, UK (with extensive travel within the UK and abroad)

Company: Major global manufacturer with a UK turnover of £400m+, operating in over 30 countries with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all commercial operations in the UK.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for sustainable business growth.
• Drive sales management and strategic planning to boost commercial activities.
• Seek and secure new business opportunities.
• Utilise commercial acumen and financial expertise to set and exceed targets, particularly in P&L management.
• Increase the offering of carbon-negative products to enhance sustainability.
• Engage with key decision-makers to secure multi-million-pound contracts.
• Oversee and mentor teams in Sales, Specification, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production Planning.
• Report directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

• Proven record of success as a Sales/Commercial Director.
• Passionate and resilient professional with the ability to lead the UK business.
• Qualified to degree level; multilingual abilities are a significant advantage.
• Must be based in the North West region.
