Commercial Director
Location: North West, UK (with extensive travel within the UK and abroad)
Company: Major global manufacturer with a UK turnover of £400m+, operating in over 30 countries with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all commercial operations in the UK.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies for sustainable business growth.
- Drive sales management and strategic planning to boost commercial activities.
- Seek and secure new business opportunities.
- Utilise commercial acumen and financial expertise to set and exceed targets, particularly in P&L management.
- Increase the offering of carbon-negative products to enhance sustainability.
- Engage with key decision-makers to secure multi-million-pound contracts.
- Oversee and mentor teams in Sales, Specification, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production Planning.
- Report directly to the CEO.
Requirements:
- Proven record of success as a Sales/Commercial Director.
- Passionate and resilient professional with the ability to lead the UK business.
- Qualified to degree level; multilingual abilities are a significant advantage.
- Must be based in the North West region.
