    Country Manager – Power Tools


    This is an exclusive assignment for Courtney Smith Group who are working alongside Festool UK.  Festool UK are a market leading Manufacturer of High performance , premium branded Tools. These quality products are used across a multitude of construction applications from Timber, Carpentry, Painting & Renovation. As Country Manager you will have sole responsibility for all sales & marketing functions for the UK. You will be directly managing 4 people, a National Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Key Account Manager & the Customer Service/Technical Manager. You will have sole responsibility for the UK Sales function relating to key commercial decisions on customers, key account strategy, Operations, Marketing & Technical Support.  The company works very closely with their dealer & distribution network and assist in creating demand for them. A key element will be to increase the variety of dealers by increasing trade with some targeted National Distributors & Merchants. You will be expected to be in the company head office in Bury St Edmunds 3 days a week, with the rest of the time at home or travelling nationally, with that in mind you HAVE to be located within an hour and a half of Bury St Edmunds.

    The ideal person for this role will need to demonstrate at least 5 years successful sales management / sales directorship experience. You need to possess strong commercial, sales & operational skills. Ideally you will be Degree educated. Although knowledge of Power Tools would be an advantage it is not crucial as long as you possess the senior management skills from within Construction. Good communication skills, accomplished at pulling teams together, an articulate nature and strong customer facing skills are equally important.
