You will sell the full range of designer radiators, both electric and central heating products. They are very high quality and are available in over 200 different colours and styles which make the product very popular just now. You will sell into agreed trading partners which vary dependent on the product. For example, you will sell into electrical wholesalers such as Medlock, BEW, CEF and Edmundsons. You will deal with plumbers merchants like UK Plumbing Supplies and Wolseley, you will also sell into bathroom showrooms. Due to expansion this is the first external sales position for the company, but you will inherit a strong region with plenty of existing stockists. The area is the South East of England. There is opportunities to work with bathroom distributors also, such as Scorpion, Claygate and Phoenix. The product range on offer is very appealing and you will not struggle to engage trading partners. The company are not looking for a glorified postman who will visit partners to replenish catalogue stock – but someone who will make appointments with branch managers to engage and discuss their requirements.
My client holds over £1m of stock in a purpose built warehouse. They are growing rapidly and are seeking someone to help them grow and gain market share.
The ideal candidate will have experience in radiators and heating. Alternatively, this role would be suited to someone who has experience in the bathroom or kitchens sector as there are transferable skills from those sectors. My client is a fresh thinking, young, dynamic business engaged with modern technologies and ways of interacting with customers. You need to have very good interpersonal skills enabling you to both foster and develop good relationships with potential customers.
