    National Key Account Manager – Civils & Drainage Products
    Location: National (Flexible with travel across the UK)

    A leading UK manufacturer in the construction and civils space is looking for a National Key Account Manager to take ownership of several high-value merchant relationships. This is a strategic, relationship-led role managing a portfolio worth over £6 million. You’ll be the primary point of contact for key merchant accounts across the country, ensuring strong performance at both head office and branch levels.

    You’ll be involved in everything from building growth strategies to attending client meetings and ensuring stock availability. The accounts are already established—your role is to protect, develop, and grow them.

    We’re looking for a high-calibre individual with a track record of selling into national or regional merchants—someone with the ability to build trust and drive performance across multiple stakeholders.

    You will need:

    • Experience selling into builders’ merchants or buying groups (civils or heavyside products ideal)

    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

    • A strategic and commercial mindset

    • The confidence to work independently and make an impact

    • A willingness to travel nationally and occasionally support weekend events or visits
