    A leading manufacturer of construction products is looking for an experienced Specification Sales Manager to join their national commercial team, focusing on a high-quality range of drainage solutions. This is a specification-led sales role, working with key stakeholders in the built environment to promote innovative drainage systems for a variety of applications.

    Working across a national territory, you’ll be responsible for securing specifications at the early design stage with civil engineers, architects, local authorities, water companies, housebuilders, and main contractors. The role is consultative and solution-driven, with a focus on supporting technically robust and sustainable drainage designs for residential, commercial, infrastructure and public sector projects.

    You will lead project conversations at the front end, delivering CPDs, influencing technical decisions, and handing over secured specifications to internal colleagues for project delivery.

    We’re looking for a technically confident, commercially driven individual with a strong track record in specification-led sales. You’ll ideally have experience working with drainage, civils, concrete, waterproofing or other technical construction products, and be comfortable engaging with consultants and decision-makers at the early stages of project design.

    • Strong background in technical/specification sales
    • Familiarity with the design and specification process in construction
    • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
    • Confident delivering CPDs and presenting technical solutions
    • Proactive, self-motivated and results-focused
    • Comfortable managing a national territory and working across multiple sectors
    • Able to work independently while contributing to a wider commercial team
