National Specification Sales Manager (HVAC Sector)
Role
I am recruiting for a global business who require a National Specification Sales Manager to lead strategic sales engagement across key sectors including local authorities, housing associations, large housebuilders, and public institutions.
In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated team to drive the specification of energy management/hvac products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and deliver revenue targets through a solution-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales relationships with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, national/regional housebuilders, tier 1 contractors and their supply chains
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across public and private sectors
- Drive specification-led sales aligned with legislation such as MEES and Net Zero initiatives
- Identify and develop new market opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling
- Lead contract negotiations and deliver on national revenue targets
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to shape commercial strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
Experience
- Must have extensive experience within the Social Housing Market
- Strong track record in specification sales and strategic account management
- Leadership experience, ideally in energy, hvac sector
- Experience working with large customers across housing, construction, or public sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial planning skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally (with occasional international travel)
