This is selling my clients range of plumbing products into OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) customers. The customers would use my clients’ products inside their own / in conjunction with their own products. They sell across different sectors and have a dedicated Sales Manager for each. You will manage approx. 50 – 60 accounts with a variety of current spend / commitment. Lots of accounts you will inherit will spend £5k – £15k per year that will require nurturing. You will be expected to build relationships to gain trust. The split is 50% with existing accounts and 50% seeking new business. Quality calls around 10-12 per week – talking about the technical aspects and building relationships. This is a national position.

You will have some knowledge of plumbing and have 2 + years experience on the road. Many aspects of the requirements are around the personality, you must be on the “upward curve” with high energy levels and drive. You will be a good account manager but not fazed by seeking & searching for new accounts / growing dormant business. You won’t be fazed by a challenge and will relish the opportunity of growing sales across the country.
