    Sales Manager – Roofing

    Role

    Due to continued expansion, this leading supplier of roofing and associated products is seeking a dynamic and skilled Area Sales Manager to cover the North East and Scotland.

    You will be responsible for selling a diverse range of roofing products, including:

    • Flashings
    • Slot drainage
    • Couplings
    • Connectors
    • Solar roof products

    This role is 100% merchant/distribution focused, working with both national and independent merchants such as Jewson, SIG, Travis Perkins, Rinus Roofing, Burton Roofing, and Keyline. Key responsibilities include:

    • Driving new business development
    • Negotiating with key procurement personnel within merchant groups
    • Managing an expanding sales territory spanning Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, and Scotland

    Candidate Profile

    We are looking for a high-calibre sales professional who can demonstrate:

    • Strong and established relationships with merchants and distributors
    • Proven sales experience within the roofing or a closely related sector (an advantage but not essential)
    • Sharp commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
    • The ability to present and sell effectively at a senior level

    This role offers the opportunity to step into a position akin to a Regional Key Account Manager, with a strong emphasis on strategic relationship building and new business development.
