UK Business Development Manager; Electrical Products

Role

This is a national position where you will be tasked with selling Electrical Products. The products will include temporary lighting, cable management, safety lighting, industrial plugs and sockets. You will inherit a division currently at £5m, with big grown plans to expand both the turnover and a team beneath you. This position is selling directly (no electrical wholesale involvement) into electrical contractors such Wingate Electrical, McAuliffe Electrical Services and Wyse. Lots of business will be won on site with facility managers and the products are especially popular on high rise developments. Once you have settled in you will be tasked almost immediately with growing this division and recruiting 3 external sales people.

The company are part of a larger group who have sales of over £1.1billion. This division is £5m but with high potential.

Person

You will have a strong electrical products background with experience selling directly into electrical contractors. You will be hungry, bright & driven with strong commercial acumen. Due to the position being a UK role, you will need to be prepared for overnight stays / diary planning.
