We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer within the construction materials sector that is experiencing strong growth following a successful 2025. As part of this expansion, they are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to strengthen their national sales team.
This is a consultative, technically biased sales role focused on driving demand for a specialist flooring solution used widely across commercial and residential construction projects.
Selling a full range of specialist flooring / screed solutions used as an alternative to traditional cement
Creating demand by calling directly on screeders, flooring contractors and sub-contractors
Products are supplied nationally through a network of readymix and concrete plants, so relationship management across the supply chain is key
Engaging with engineers and handling specification-led enquiries where required
Field-based role with a high level of autonomy, covering a flexible regional patch
Joining an established national team, with the role shaped around the individual’s strengths
UK manufacturing business with turnover in excess of £12m
Strong national presence supported by partner plants and applicators
Part of a wider construction group with revenues exceeding £100m
Known for technical quality, service, and long-standing contractor relationships
We are looking for a hungry, credible, contractor-focused salesperson with a strong technical mindset. Suitable backgrounds include:
Screed, readymix concrete, underfloor heating or floor preparation
Insulation, adhesives, acoustics or other heavy-side construction materials
Manufacturing background preferred
Comfortable on construction sites and dealing with no-nonsense contractors
Consultative rather than transactional in approach
Technically curious and able to add value beyond price
Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially sharp
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 basic
Bonus: Up to 25% (paid annually)
