    Specification Manager – Commercial Ventillation

    Role

    This role involves securing specifications for a market-leading range of commercial ventilation products across the North East, Yorkshire and Cumbria. The role focuses on early engagement with consultants and local authorities, providing technical support and ensuring products are specified at design stage. The products includes mechanical ventilation systems, air handling units, as well as commercial fan solutions and associated controls. These solutions are specified into a wide variety of applications including offices, schools, hotels, shopping centres and student accommodation. Working closely with an Area Sales Manager who covers contractor relationships, the successful candidate will focus on specification activity before handing projects over for delivery. This is a highly technical and consultative role suited to someone who enjoys influencing design decisions and building long-term professional relationships.

    The Person

    This role will suit an individual with strong knowledge of HVAC products with experience selling to M&E consultants or coming from a consultancy background. Candidates from commercial HVAC or pumps and heating environments will also be considered. You will be confident, commercially minded and comfortable opening new relationships while developing existing accounts.
