This position is a critical role within the business. You will lead, coach performance, drive accountability, develop, manage and inspire a team of 4 ASM’s across the UK. My client is a worldwide manufacturer of Electrical products and this position is managing the sales team plus the national wholesaler partners at head office. Accounts you will manage include Edmundsons (the largest revenue stream circa £3.5m) Rexel (£1.7m) and City Electrical Factors (£800k). You will also manage the buying group members such as AWEBB and ANEW. Responsibilities include managing the trading agreements, align regional execution with national strategy, overseeing the P&L, implementing strategy, managing supply chain. The team of ASM’s will manage the wholesalers at branch level within their region.

You will be a highly capable, sharp, driven and intelligent individual with experience of managing merchant / distributor partners at a head office / supply chain level. You will be experienced in delivering results and influencing change at a senior level. If you do have experience of managing a sales team this will be highly desirable / preferred. My client is open minded on the product background you currently work in.
