The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join a leading UK business within the construction and site solutions sector. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing product range focused on perimeter site systems used across major construction projects.

The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will:

• Drive sales of a specialist site hoarding solution used on construction projects
• Target main contractors, housebuilders, and developers
• Manage and grow existing accounts while actively winning new business
• Develop relationships across site and commercial teams
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term contracts
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service

This is a field-based, proactive sales role where success comes from building relationships, being visible on-site, and consistently closing opportunities.

My client is looking for someone who is:

• Hungry, driven, and tenacious with a strong desire to succeed
• Experienced in construction sales or site-led products
• Comfortable selling into contractors, developers
• Proactive in generating new business opportunities
• A strong relationship builder with excellent closing ability
• Stable career history

Backgrounds that could work well include:

• Construction product sales
• Tool or equipment sales
• Site-based or contractor-facing roles

• Basic salary up to £50,000 (flexible to £55,000 for the right person)
• Bonus circa £6,000 per year (paid quarterly)
