Territory: Established | £4m Turnover | Contractor Focus
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading, international manufacturer of electrical installation solutions. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer support, the business supplies a comprehensive range of products across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing a well-established territory with an annual turnover of approximately £4m.
The position involves:
- Selling a broad portfolio including wiring accessories, switchgear, building automation products, connectors, and controls
- Managing a customer base split between:
- Electrical contractors/installers (40%) – the primary focus for new business development
- Electrical wholesalers/distributors (60%) – requiring ongoing account management and relationship development
- Driving growth by increasing product specification and contractor engagement
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key distribution partners while identifying new opportunities in the contractor market
This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a proactive and commercially driven approach.
The Person
Personality and attitude are key to success in this role. We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds within building products, including electrical, heavy side, or plumbing & heating.
