This role is selling a range of products including wetroom solutions such as shower trays and decks, shower seats and shower doors for low level access, shower accessories and drainage, walk in baths, comfort height WC suites, taps, adjustable height wash basins, wheelchair accessible toilet solutions, and access solutions such as ramps. They have a full range of kitchen products as well, specifically designed for the disabled & elderly , including adjustable worktops, frames and tables, sinks, electric lifts for wall cupboards, and appliances.
You will be selling into local authorities, housing associations and councils, national and regional house builders, main and sub-contractors, one-off installers and occupational therapists. You will also back-sell through merchants. Typical projects include schools, hospitals, public facilities and even cruise ships. The supporting branch will be Southampton.
The area is very well established but has potential to improve. The territory is Dorset, Hampshire & Wiltshire.

Person
My client is open on product background and experience as long as they are strong sales people who can sell a solution as much as a product. Naturally, they will look at candidates from bathrooms or kitchens backgrounds, but are equally open to other interior products such as flooring. They will also consider someone working for a plumbers’ merchant or bathroom merchant in either external or internal sales. Specification experience would be a bonus, but the products can be taught. The focus is very much on personality and attitude. You must be personable, enthusiastic and proactive, with a strong desire to develop business and build relationships.
