    Business Development Manager – Partitioning Systems

    Location: National Role (home-based, with travel across the UK)
    Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 Basic + Bonus (£48,000 – £54,000 OTE)

    The Company

    An established UK manufacturer and supplier of innovative interior fit-out solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its growing team. The business has built a strong reputation within the commercial interiors sector and manufactures a range of high-quality partitioning systems and architectural products for projects across the UK.

    The Role

    This is an account management-focused position responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities within the commercial interiors market.

    You will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of glazed and acoustic partitioning systems, including single glazed, double glazed, premium acoustic and aluminium-framed solutions, as well as associated door systems. These products are widely specified and installed across office, education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial environments.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Managing a well-established customer base and existing revenue stream
    • Developing relationships with interior fit-out contractors and specialist subcontractors
    • Working closely with distributors and supply chain partners
    • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within target markets
    • Delivering sales growth across a national territory
    • Providing technical and commercial support to customers throughout the sales process

    The role is expected to be approximately 80% account management and 20% new business development.

    The Candidate

    The ideal candidate will have experience selling partitioning systems, interior fit-out products or related building materials into contractors and subcontractors.

    Applications are also welcomed from individuals with experience in products such as:

    • Ceilings
    • Flooring
    • Insulation/Plasterboard
    • Doors
    • Other interior building products

    The company is open to considering ambitious internal sales professionals who have relevant product experience looking to take their first step into a field-based sales role.

    Package

    • Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
    • Annual Bonus Scheme
