    Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms

    Role

    In this position you will be responsible for selling the wide range of accessible living products, showering solutions, bathroom products and wetroom products & accessories. A large part of the position is managing Social Housing providers such as West Berkshire Council, Bracknell Forrest Council, Hounslow Council, Kingston Council, Lambeth Council, Southwark Council. You will tender and gain business with the Local Authorities across the region. You will also manage the contractors which will range from 1 man band heating engineers, bathroom installers, plumbing installers, M&E Contractors right the way up to large multi national contractors such as Kier, Keepmoat, Lakehouse, United Living and Mitie.  The region you will manage is South London (South of the River inside the M25), Surrey, a small part of Kent around Bexley / Bromley / Dartford and then across to Reading / Slough in Berkshire. This region is performing extremely well and is firmly established.

He requires candidates who have strong sales experience selling through either Social Housing providers or selling direct to Contractors. He isn’t so keen on candidates who sell through merchants as this position doesn’t include any merchant involvement. My client is open minded on the product background you come from, just as long as you are able to understand “cross selling”, “features & benefits”, “price negotiation” etc.
