This position is down to growth. The company have enjoyed a healthy and consistent level of growth which is resulted in the need to add to the external sales team . The role will be selling the companies range of flat roof products as well as Drainage systems & products. This role is solely focused on selling these products through the National & Independent builders merchant network as well as specialist Distribution such as Roofing Merchants. Key aspects of the role include expanding the range of products stocked within existing accounts as well as adding new stockists to the portfolio of customers. You will be involved in negotiating terms with some of these customers. The region stretches from the East Midlands through the Northern Home Counties to the South Coast.

My client is looking for a high calibre individual that can demonstrate success and credibility in selling through Merchants. In an ideal world they would like this individual to have a link to drainage or roofing but this isn’t imperative and they will consider a strong sales person who has a proven track record in selling through Merchants. You must be commercially aware and be able to sell a products and a system on features and benefits. They do not want a commodity sales person.
