A leading manufacturer within the commercial heating sector is looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to manage and develop a well-established territory across the North of England and Scotland.

The Role
You will be responsible for promoting a range of commercial heating and system water quality products, including air and dirt separation, hydraulic balancing, pressurisation, and vacuum degassing solutions.
The role will focus predominantly on managing and developing relationships with M&E Contractors, while also maintaining strong links with key specialist merchants and distribution partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an established and successful territory
- Selling commercial heating solutions into M&E Contractors
- Working closely with specification teams to secure and protect project specifications
- Developing relationships with commercial merchants and distributors
- Identifying new business opportunities across the region
- Managing projects from specification through to order
- Providing technical and commercial support to customers
Territory
North of the M62 including:
- Lancashire
- Manchester
- Yorkshire
- Northumberland
- Tyne & Wear
- County Durham
- Scotland
Applicants should ideally be located along the M62 corridor.
The Ideal Candidate
The company is looking for a driven and commercially aware sales professional with experience within the commercial plumbing and heating sector.
Suitable backgrounds may include:
- Commercial heating products
- Valves
- Pumps
- Boilers
- Pipework systems
- Pressurisation equipment
- HVAC / plumbing & heating solutions
Candidates working within commercial plumbing & heating merchants with strong contractor relationships will also be considered.
Package
- Basic salary: Circa £55,000 flexible dependent on experience (OTE £65,000+)
